# Access Roles for Invited Users

Roles in haddock can be customized to fit your needs.

We have preset basics so inviting users is as simple as adding an email and selecting a role, and we also give you the ability to fully customize each role's access and permissions.

That is why inside each role you can select the access preferences for each module.

### 🚀 Administrator

**Who should have this role in the restaurant?**

Management and leadership roles.

👀 **Unlimited access** to all modules and options. Has access to all haddock modules with editing and creation permissions.

🔒 **Cannot modify** the haddock subscription

### 📄 Document Manager

**Who should have this role in the restaurant?**

Restaurant employees and office staff. Recommended for the people who will manage uploading information to haddock.

*🔑* **Permission** to upload, view, and edit their documents.

❗ **Cannot** see documents uploaded by other team members.

*🔑* **Permission** to view their own issues and create new ones.

🔒 **Do not have access** to restaurant settings, sales, dashboard, food cost breakdowns, products, orders, and staff information.

### 🧑🏽‍🍳 Chef and Kitchen

**Who should have this role in the restaurant?**

Recommended for kitchen staff who create recipes.

**👀 Access** to products, suppliers, and documents.

*🔑* **Permission** to create, view, and edit food cost breakdowns.

*🔑* **Permission** to upload, view, edit, delete, and export documents and manual expenses.

*🔑* **Permission** to create, view, edit, and delete suppliers.

*🔑* **Permission** to create, import, edit, and export products.

*🔑* **Permission** to create, edit, and delete issues.

*🔑* **Permission** to place orders, view order history, and review orders.

**🔒 No access** to sales, staff, reconciliation, or dashboard information.

### 💼 Manager

**Who should have this role in the restaurant?**

Recommended for accounting firms.

**👀 View access** to all haddock modules.

*🔑* **Access** to view all information and export documents.

*🔑* **Access** to upload, edit, and delete sales.

**🔒 Cannot** upload or edit documents, products, food cost breakdowns, or staff.
