# Copy complete shift plans

When you have finished planning the shifts for a group of employees for a week or a longer period, **you can copy the entire plan with a single click** and then paste it into another future period.

## Finish planning the shifts in the plan you want to copy

In the following example, we have planned the shifts of 5 people during one week:

## Click the copy plan icon

The action to copy a plan is located **in the upper right menu**, above the planning:

## Specify from which day you want to paste the plan

Lastly, you only need to choose **from which date you want to paste the plan**:

**Important 🎯**: keep in mind that **both work shifts and absences will be copied**. Therefore, if you have any employee with a vacation shift, leave, or sick leave (temporary incapacity), those will be copied too.
