# Create manual products

## Create manual product

1. Go to the **Products** page, click **Add product**, and select **Create product**.

2. Fill in all the details for the new product.

1. Basic information.

* **Product name**.
* **Product code** (optional).
* **Supplier**: If it is a new supplier that does not exist yet, check the section on how to create a new supplier.
* **Categorization**: Add the category, subcategory, and families this new product belongs to.

2. Purchases and use in recipes.

* **Price**: Fill in with the last purchase price.
* **Unit of measure**: The unit in which you usually buy this product.
* **Waste**: Complete with the percentage of the product you will not use.
