# Export shifts to Excel

Exporting planning to Excel lets you analyze shifts, share information with other departments, or generate custom reports.

### Step 1. Access planning

From the main menu, go to **Planning**.

### Step 2. Open the export option

In the upper right corner, you will find the **three-dots** menu.
Click it and select **Export planning**.

### Step 3. Configure the data to export

In the export window:

- Select the **period** you want to export.
- Choose the **groups** included in the export.

### Step 4. Export

Click the **Export** button.
A file in Excel format will be downloaded with the selected planning.
