# 📥📅 How do you import absences into haddock HR via Excel?

Do you have lots of absences to load and do not want to do them one by one? No problem! 🙌 With **haddock HR**, you can **import them all at once** using an Excel file. 📈💻

Just follow these steps:

🔹 Go to the **"Absences"** menu in haddock HR.
🔹 Click the **three-dots button** (top right corner) ⋮
🔹 Select **"Import absences"**. 📥

We will ask you for an Excel file 📊 with the basic information:

- **Employee code** 👤
- **Start date** and **end date** 📅
- **Start time and end time** (Only if it is an hourly absence
- **Absence type (the shift in haddock HR)** 📝
