# How the search works in the employee list

At the top of the employee list, you'll find the **Search** field.

From this field, you can find employees using any of the following data:

- **First name**
- **Last name**
- **Email**
- **Employee code**

You only need to enter the data in the search field and the list will automatically filter to show matching results.

### Usage recommendations

- You can enter only part of the first name or last name to narrow the results.
- If you know the employee code, that is the fastest and most accurate way to find a specific person.
