# How to group and ungroup products

## 🍎 How to group products

1. Click **🍎 Products** in the side navigation bar.

2. Select the products you want to group. **Click the ☐** on the left side of the row.

3. Click **Group** in the bar that appears **at the bottom of the page**.

4. Click **Continue**.

5. Enter the name (required), product code, and waste.

**Name** - Set a name for the grouped product (required).

**Internal code** - Included in exports.

**Waste** - Set the waste for recipes (you can do this later).

6. Convert the purchase format to a base unit (Kg, L, or Units). [See more details about the conversion](https://support.haddock.app/en/article/convert-purchase-format-for-products-to-a-base-unit-kg-l-or-unit-1x3nhg1/).

* Select the unit of measure.

* Enter the quantity for each product.

7. Click **"Save"**

## ❌ How to ungroup products

1. From the product page, click the ⠇ icon to open the options menu.

2. Click **Ungroup product**.
