# 📅 How to schedule holidays manually from the plan

In haddock HR, you can enter holidays manually directly from the **Planning** view.

1. Go to **Planning**.
2. Open the **group** and the **period** where you want to enter the holidays.
3. In the menu on the left you will find the **shifts**.

  - By default, work shifts are shown.
  - Select the **Holidays** shift.
4. Drag the **Holidays** shift onto the day where you want to schedule it.

👉 If you want to schedule **several days at once**:

- Make a **multi-selection** of days (with the left mouse button).
- Then drag the **Holidays** shift onto any of the selected days.

That way, you can assign holidays quickly and easily directly from the plan. 🌴
