# How to set up time clock terminal credentials

If you want to use a time clock terminal without signing in with an employee's credentials, you can configure dedicated credentials for the terminal.

### Steps to configure the terminal

1. Go to **Settings** from the main menu.
2. Open **General settings**.
3. At the top of the screen, find the **Time clock terminal** section.
4. Enter the **terminal email address**.
5. Enter the **terminal password**.
6. Click **Save**.

Once the settings are saved, the terminal can use these dedicated credentials instead of an employee's account.

### Access the terminal

To access the time clock terminal, open the following address on the device you will use as the terminal:

**[https://app.plain.ninja/clockin](https://app.plain.ninja/clockin)**

Then sign in with the terminal credentials you configured previously. The device will now be ready to record time entries independently.
