# I can't delete a shift wheel

If you cannot delete a **shift wheel**, it is usually because it is **assigned to one or more employees**. As long as that association exists, the system will not allow you to delete it.

### How do you fix it?

1. **Go to the employee profile**

  - Go to the employees menu.
  - Open the profile of the employee associated with the shift wheel.
2. **Remove the association with the wheel**

  - Inside the profile, look for the **Shift Wheels** section.
  - Remove the shift wheel that is linked.
3. **Check all employees**

  - It is important to check whether more than one employee has the same wheel assigned.
  - Repeat the previous step until no employee has that wheel associated.
4. **Delete the shift wheel**

  - Once it is no longer linked to any employee, you will be able to delete it without any problem.
