# Manually reconcile invoices

## What is invoice reconciliation?

Invoice reconciliation links **invoices** with **delivery notes** so you can confirm that what was delivered matches what you will pay.

## Reconcile from the pending list

1. Open **Reconciliation** in the side menu.
2. Find the invoice you want to match.
3. On the invoice card, click **Manually reconcile** (or **Select delivery notes** in older layouts).
4. Select the delivery notes that belong to that invoice.
5. Check that totals and lines look correct.
6. Confirm to save the reconciliation.

If your account uses **recommended reconciliation** without AI, haddock may show suggested matches in a carousel first. You can accept a suggestion or open **Manually reconcile** to change the delivery notes.

## Which documents appear

Pending reconciliation is driven mainly by **supplier settings**, not by document category alone.

A supplier is included when it is configured to work with delivery notes and its reconciliation behavior is not set to hide all invoices. In **Purchases > Suppliers**, open the supplier and set whether invoices always appear for reconciliation, only when they have delivery notes, or never.

Documents must be **processed** (not in needs review or rejected) and not already reconciled.
