# Move or copy a shift in the shift plan 🥷

Reposition or duplicate any shift in the plan by dragging it directly on the calendar.

### Step 1: Drag the shift to its new position

Click the shift you want to move or copy and, without releasing it, drag it to the destination day or time slot.

### Step 2: Choose whether to move or copy

Before you drop the shift, a message will appear with two options:

- Move – the shift is removed from its original position and placed at the destination.

- Copy – the original shift remains in place and a copy is created at the destination.

▎ ⚠️ You can only move or copy one shift at a time. You cannot select several shifts and drag them as a group.
