# Totpes 9 (OS Sistemes) - Connect POS

Connect your **Totpes 9** POS (by **OS Sistemes**) to haddock to sync your sales automatically. The connection uses Totpes's cloud API, so you do not need to install anything at your restaurant.

## Before you begin

Ask **OS Sistemes** (your Totpes provider) for your API access details:

- Your **database address** (the "origin"), in the format `https://osX.totpescloud.com`. This is the address of your specific Totpes installation.
- The API **username** and **password**.

> Note: the integration is for **Totpes 9**. If your restaurant still uses Totpes 8, contact OS Sistemes or our support chat.

## Connection steps

1. Click the **restaurant name** to open the **menu**.

2. Go to **Restaurant settings** > **My integrations**.

3. In the **Integrations** section, find **Totpes 9 (OS Sistemes)** and click **Connect**.

4. Enter the details provided by OS Sistemes:
   - The **database address** (origin), for example `https://os2.totpescloud.com`.
   - **Username**.
   - **Password**.

5. Click **Continue**. haddock will validate your credentials and display the available **stores (botigues)**.

6. **Select one or more stores** to sync and click **Connect**.

From then on, haddock will automatically begin importing sales from the selected stores.

## ⚙️ Technical requirements

- **Totpes 9** with **API access enabled** by OS Sistemes.
- The API **username, password, and database address** (origin).
- This is a cloud connection: **it does not require a static IP or a computer running at the restaurant**.

## ❓ Frequently asked questions

**Can I connect several stores?**
Yes. If your credentials have access to several stores (botigues), you can select as many as you need during the connection process.

**Are menus and modifiers synced?**
Totpes 9 does not model menus or combos, so those sales appear as individual items. Modifiers (extras) are imported as separate sales lines.

**How often are sales updated?**
haddock checks for sales periodically through polling. It may take a little while for the current day's data to appear.

**I cannot see my sales after connecting.**
Check that you selected the correct store and that OS Sistemes has enabled API access. If the issue persists, contact our support chat.
