# What are Staffing Needs?

**Staffing Needs** let you set how many **Employees** you need with a specific [**Role**](https://help.plain.ninja/es/articles/3693857-que-es-una-funcion-y-para-que-sirve) in each [**Work Shift**](https://help.plain.ninja/es/articles/3693943-que-es-un-turno-y-para-que-sirve)**.**

For example, in a restaurant with 2 **Shifts**, one morning shift called **M1** and one afternoon shift **T1**, you can set that you need 2 **Waiters** in **M1** and 4 in **T1**.
