# What is a time entry in haddock HR?

A time entry in haddock HR represents a **clock-in or clock-out from the company**.

In haddock HR, time entries can be made from a **computer**, from a **mobile phone**, or from an **attendance terminal**.

Within the same day, haddock HR **allows more than one clock-in and clock-out pair** so that, for example, someone can leave for lunch and then come back to work.
