Why don't my products appear?

The products you see in haddock are generated automatically from the documents you upload. Therefore, the issue may be in the purchase document or even in the supplier.


These are the most common problems:


🔗 "My products are not grouped"


🔎 "I can't find a product"


🚚 "The same product, but I buy it from different suppliers"



🔗 "My products are not grouped"


If you see your products on two different lines in the main product list, it is mainly due to one of these reasons:


❗️ Problem: Different description or format


If part of the product description is different, or there are extra or missing elements, it will be treated as two different products.


✨ Solutions:


  • Edit the description of the product in the document (in the document details tab).
  • Group it with the main product:


  1. In the product profile, click the 3-dot menu ( ⋮ ) in the top-right corner
  2. Click "Group" to open the grouping screen
  3. Select which product(s) you want to group it with.

🔎 "I can't find a product"


If you can't find the product in the product list or when you are creating recipes, it may be due to one of these reasons:


🚚 The supplier category


Why? In the products screen (in the side menu), only products in raw materials, drinks, cleaning, or consumables are shown.


✨ Solution:


Classify the supplier into one of the categories mentioned:


  1. Click Suppliers in the side bar
  2. Find the supplier using the search bar and click on it
  3. Click "edit" (you will find it next to the name)


🛒 "The same product, but I buy it from different suppliers"


If you buy the same product from different suppliers, look for the supplier in the Suppliers section and check whether it has a category assigned. That way you will find all the products you need.
