Access Roles for Invited Users

Roles in haddock can be customized to fit your needs.


We have preset basics so inviting users is as simple as adding an email and selecting a role, and we also give you the ability to fully customize each role's access and permissions.


That is why inside each role you can select the access preferences for each module.


Here we show you the steps to access and configure your team's roles 💥



Available roles in haddock:




🚀 Administrator


Who should have this role in the restaurant?


Management and leadership roles.


👀 Unlimited access to all modules and options. Has access to all haddock modules with editing and creation permissions.


🔒 Cannot modify the haddock subscription




📄 Document Manager


Who should have this role in the restaurant?


Restaurant employees and office staff. Recommended for the people who will manage uploading information to haddock.


🔑 Permission to upload, view, and edit their documents.


Cannot see documents uploaded by other team members.


🔑 Permission to view their own issues and create new ones.


🔒 Do not have access to restaurant settings, sales, dashboard, food cost breakdowns, products, orders, and staff information.




🧑🏽‍🍳 Chef and Kitchen


Who should have this role in the restaurant?


Recommended for kitchen staff who create recipes.


👀 Access to restaurant settings, products, suppliers, and documents.


🔑 Permission to create, view, and edit food cost breakdowns.


🔑 Permission to upload, view, edit, delete, and export documents and manual expenses.


🔑 Permission to create, view, edit, and delete suppliers.


🔑 Permission to create, import, edit, and export products.


🔑 Permission to create, edit, and delete issues.


🔑 Permission to place orders, view order history, and review orders.


🔒 No access to sales, staff, reconciliation, or dashboard information.




💼 Manager


Who should have this role in the restaurant?


Recommended for accounting firms.


👀 View access to all haddock modules.


🔑 Access to view all information and export documents.


🔑 Access to upload, edit, and delete sales.


🔒 Cannot upload or edit documents, products, food cost breakdowns, or staff.
