BDP - Connect POS

Recommended method: Use the BDP Connector. It connects to haddock without complications, works in the background, and automatically syncs your POS data to haddock.

Legacy direct API connection: The steps below are for the older BDP API integration. Prefer the BDP Connector unless your technician tells you otherwise.

Important: Write to soporte@haddock.app so we can help you connect your BDP POS with haddock.

  1. Click the restaurant name to open the menu.

  1. Go to Restaurant settings > My integrations.

  1. Find and select BDP.

  1. Request the necessary data for the integration from your BDP reseller. On the connection screen itself you will find a ready-made email template to send to your reseller.

⚙️ Technical requirements and required fields

To complete the integration, you will need to fill in the following fields in haddock:

  • Server URL: The server's fixed IP or a DynDNS.
  • Login: Database user (shared with haddock).
  • Password: The user's password.
  • Port: The server port (default 5555).
  • Sales export profile: The profile number used for exports.

Also make sure the server where BDP is installed meets the following requirements:

  • BDP license minimum version 33.2.
  • Port 5555 open and forwarded.
  • Active firewall rule on port 5555.

❓ If you have any questions, you can ask through support chat or by sending an email directly to soporte@haddock.app.

Integrations may include additional costs not covered by haddock.
