Communications: send announcements to one or several groups

The Communications section lets you send announcements to one or several groups, defining a title and a description, quickly and in a centralized way.


Step 1: Add the Communications widget to the dashboard


Before you can send announcements, you need to add the Communications widget to the dashboard.


  1. Click the haddock HR logo (top of the dashboard).
  2. In the top-right corner, click the three dots.
  3. Select Configure widget templates.
  4. Edit the template you are using.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the list.
  6. Enable the Communications option.
  7. Save the changes.


Once added, the Communications widget will automatically appear on the home dashboard.




Step 2: Create a new announcement


To create a new announcement:


  1. From the home dashboard, find the Communications widget.
  2. Click the "+" button that appears on the right side of the widget.
  3. Select the group or groups you want to send the announcement to.
  4. Enter a title.
  5. Write the announcement body.
  6. Save or publish the announcement.



The announcement will be visible to the selected groups and centralized within the Communications section.
