GPS geolocation in time entries

haddock HR lets you record workers' time entry location to provide greater control and traceability. This feature is available both for users clocking in from the mobile app and for those doing it from the browser.

📍 Time entries from the mobile app

When a user installs the haddock HR app, they will be asked to accept consent to record their GPS location.

Once accepted, each time entry will include the device's GPS coordinates, as long as location is enabled on the phone and permissions have been granted.

This information can be easily viewed from the Supervise time entries section, where managers can see the place from which each time entry was made.

🌐 Time entries from the browser

For time entries made from a computer, the location is detected through the device's IP address.

Keep in mind that IP-based location is not as accurate as GPS-based location and may vary depending on the network being used.
