How to assign annual hours using an account


To set an annual target of, for example, 1,748 hours without modifying the contract or relying on the weekly calculation, you can use a manual account.


This method lets you directly record the annual total for each employee.



1. Create the "Annual hours" account


  1. Go to Settings
  2. Open Rules > Accounts
  3. Click Create account
  4. Name: Annual hours
  5. Account type: Hours
  6. Save




2. Create the manual transaction


  1. Go to Transactions
  2. Click the + button
  3. Add the corresponding employees
  4. In the Account field, select Annual hours
  5. Date: January 1
  6. Value: 1,748 hours
  7. Save


The transaction assigns the 1,748 hours to each selected employee.




3. Show the account in planning


To view this information in the planner:


  1. Go to Planning
  2. Open a plan
  3. Click the three dots
  4. Enter Configure views
  5. Create a new view, for example, "Annual hours"
  6. In the account list, select Annual hours
  7. Save


When you select this view, the balance of 1,748 hours will be shown.
