📅 How to view employees' holidays in haddock HR
In haddock HR, you have several ways to view your team's holidays and other absences, adapted to the level of detail you need: by employee, by group, or even across several groups at once.
1. View a single employee's holidays from Absences
The Absences view lets you review the annual calendar of a specific employee, showing all their absences, including holidays, sick leave (IT), leave, etc.
➤ How do you access it?
- Go to the main menu and select “Absences”.
- You will see an annual calendar, grouped by month.
- If you are a supervisor or administrator, you can use the drop-down at the top to select the employee you want to view.
👤 This view shows only one employee at a time. It is not an aggregated view.

2. View the holidays for an entire group from Planning
If what you need is a full view of the holidays within a work group, you can do it from the schedule planning view.
➤ How is it done?
- Go to the main menu and select “Planning”.
- Open the group you want to view.
- Select a period in the calendar, for example July, August, or even the whole year.
- You will see the assigned shifts and, over them, the absences and holidays for each person will be clearly displayed.
🧭 This view is very useful for getting a global view of the group, especially when organizing shifts during the summer or critical periods.
3. View holidays from several groups at once with a Multi-group
If you manage teams spread across different groups, you can group them all into a Multi-group and view their holidays centrally.
➤ How do you create and view it?
- Go to the main menu and enter the “Groups” section.
- Create a new group and select the “Multi-group” type.
- Inside the multi-group, add the groups you want to combine.
- Then go back to “Planning”, select the multi-group, and choose a period.
You will see the holidays of everyone included in the groups within that multi-group in a single view.
🌐 Ideal for managers of several teams or departments who need a cross-team overview.
