Planning shifts across multiple days at once
Learn how to select multiple cells in the planner and apply a shift (either work or absence) in bulk. ποΈβ¨
1) Select individual cells π±οΈ
- Click each calendar cell to select it (π² β βοΈ).
- In the top bar you will see the counter of selected cells (π’).
- If you click a selected cell again, it will be deselected.

2) Select all the days in a column π
- Click the day of the month (in the column header).
- All cells in that column will be selected for all employees (β¬οΈ).

3) Select an entire employee row π€β‘οΈ
- Click on the right side of the employee's name.
- All cells in that row for that employee will be selected (β¬ οΈβ‘οΈ).

π§© Tip: You can combine the three selection methods to build exactly the set of cells you need.
4) Schedule one shift for the whole selection π―
- Find the shift you want to schedule (a work shift πΌ or an absence π΄).
- Drag the shift and drop it onto any of the selected cells (drag & drop π±οΈ).
- The shift will be automatically scheduled in all selected cells β .

Notes βΉοΈ
- π Make sure you have edit permission in the plan.
- β οΈ If any cell does not support that shift type, haddock HR will let you know.
