Revoke managed holidays or absences âī¸đī¸
This guide explains how to revoke (cancel) holidays or any absence that has already been managed. It requires Supervisor or Administrator permissions.
1) Go to Managed absences đ
- Go to Absences.
- Inside Absences, open the Managed absences section.
In this view, for each record you will see:
- đ¤ Employee who made the request.
- đ Period selected (start and end dates).
- đˇī¸ Absence type (holidays, sick leave, leave, etc.).
- đ Status (pending, approved, denied...).
2) Revoke an approved absence đ
- Locate the absence with status: Approved.
- At the far right of the row, click the three-dot menu â¯.
- Select Cancel absence.
- Confirm the action in the confirmation dialog (optionally add a reason).
After confirming, the absence is revoked and stops applying to the corresponding period.

Important limitation â ī¸
Only absences that have been approved through an Absence Request can be revoked. If an absence was entered manually directly in the planner, it will not appear in Managed absences. đ In that case: open the plan, locate the shift/absence, and delete it from the planning itself. đī¸
3) What happens when you revoke â¨
- The status changes to reflect the cancellation (for example, Canceled/Revoked).
- The absence stops counting in the calendar/planning and, depending on configuration, may notify the employee.
- The action is logged in the history (who, when, and reason), keeping traceability.
Frequently asked questions â
đ I can't find the absence.
Check the filters and make sure you are in Managed absences. Also check the date range.
⯠I can't see the three-dot menu.
Verify that the absence is Approved.
âŠī¸ Can I undo a cancellation?
If you made a mistake, create a new request with the same dates or contact administration to review the case.
