Time entry change history for labor inspections

The change history makes it possible to prove the full traceability of any change made to a time entry.

Each modification is automatically recorded in the system at the moment it is made. The history is generated chronologically and cannot be edited by standard users, which guarantees the integrity of the information in the event of a labor inspection.

How to access the history

First, you need to open the time entry list. You can do that from any of these places:

  • Time Entries -> to view your own records.
  • Supervise time entries -> if you manage a team.
  • Employee profile -> Time Entries section in the left sidebar menu.

Once inside the list for the relevant month:

  1. Find the time entry.
  2. Open the three-dot menu on the right.
  3. Select View modification log.

Access to the history is the same regardless of the route used.

What information the history shows

The system generates an automatic chronological record with all modifications made to that time entry. If a record has been edited several times, all recorded actions will be shown, without overwriting the previous information.

Each modification includes:

  • The person who made the change.
  • The previous value and the new value.
  • An indication of whether the change affects the clock-in or clock-out.
  • The exact date and time of the modification.
  • The IP address from which it was made.
  • The device used.

This record makes it possible to show who made each modification, when it was done, and from which environment, providing complete and verifiable traceability for any possible inspection.
