π βπΌβ What is a contract
Contracts in haddock HR are not the same as employment contracts.
βοΈβπ₯ **They are a set of work rules or policies that affect one or N employees. **βοΈβπ₯
βοΈ Example: If there are 17 employees who follow a 20-hour-per-week schedule, there will be 1 contract with these conditions applied to all these employees.
If you go to the contract, you'll see all the employees assigned to that contract.
πͺ It's a very useful tool because you can create contracts or work rules that apply to different employees. By having them in haddock HR, each user can consult them at any time and the system, thanks to its magical algorithm, will take them into account to automatically plan shifts.
** The most important contract rules are the hours to work per week and the holidays to enjoy (by working days or calendar days) **
** **There is a very important tab in βedit contractβ called **Alerts. **This is where system alerts are activated, which will be very useful day to day for control and tracking of actions
π Here, in contracts and alerts, you can also **allow or not allow your employee to clock in manually **or leave it as automatic or controlled clock-in.
In absences, you can determine what types of absences they can request. Of all the ones you create and generate, you can segment those that that employee can have available based on the contract assigned to them.
π― The goal of these contracts **is to generalize and make mass changes to employees by touching only one piece. **It speeds up the implementation of haddock HR in your business and achieves optimal results across your group of employees in a matter of seconds.
πΊ An employee can only have one active contract at a time π»
