What is a Group and what is it for?

A group contains a set of employees who provide a specific service. For example, in a group you could have all the employees who provide service in a restaurant: waiters, cooks, and staff at the bar making coffees and charging customers.

Simply put, a group is used to plan both work and absence shifts (vacations, illness, leave, etc.).

It also allows you to see the accumulated hours worked over a given period.
