What is a location?

Assign each employee their location to understand their coverage, monitor their activity, clock-ins, and other situations in each shift.

*A location can be a venue, a work position (kitchen, restaurant floor, office) or, in industrial settings, a production line.

Step-by-step guide to assigning a location in haddock HR.

  • Log in to haddock HR (sign in with your username and password)
  • Click the menu in the left-hand column on โ€œEmployeesโ€ and, in the dropdown that appears, click again on โ€œlocationsโ€

  • Click the plus-in-a-circle symbol in the top right to create a new location.

  • Fill in the required fields to create a well-detailed location - Save.
  • Once the location has been created, inside each employee profile you will be able to assign the desired location from among all the ones you have created.

  • Remember: The more information each employee has in haddock HR, the more complete the analysis and tracking of shifts, vacations, absences, and incidents will be for building complete and realistic schedules. The software works magic in automatic planning and its AI prioritizes assigning shifts by location as the top priority.
