A document has not been digitized

All documents that could not be digitized correctly will appear in one of the following tabs:

  1. Needs review: The system detected the document, but information is missing (such as the supplier) or there are doubts.
  • Click the document to add or correct the information manually.

  1. Rejected: The document is invalid, duplicated, or the quality is insufficient.
  • Hover over the "Rejected" label to see the exact reason. These documents cannot be edited.

👀 Check the following article, where you will find all the reasons and their corresponding solution.

Digitize anyway (rejected documents)

In some rejected documents you can use the "Digitize anyway" option so the system tries to digitize them again and send them to review or processing.

When it is available

  • Only on documents with Rejected status and one of these reasons:
  • Missing pages: the system detected that the document is missing pages.
  • Multiple documents: the system detected that the upload contains more than one document.
  • You need upload documents permission in the restaurant.

It does not appear for other rejection reasons (for example, duplicate, unprocessable document, etc.).

How to use it

  1. In the documents table, find the rejected document (the Rejected tab or status filter).
  2. Open the "..." menu in the document row.
  3. Choose "Digitize anyway".
  4. Read the warning in the dialog box (missing pages or multiple documents) and, if you want to continue, confirm with "Continue".
  5. The document will be sent again for digitization. When it finishes, it will appear in Needs review or Processed, depending on the result.

What this option does not do

  • It does not allow digitizing documents rejected for other reasons (duplicate, non-processable type, missing information, etc.).
  • It does not modify the document before resending it: the same file is processed again.
  • It does not guarantee a correct result: if pages are missing or there is more than one document in one file, reconciliations or totals may be affected. Review the document after digitizing it.
