Send photos of your documents via WhatsApp

You can digitize documents by sending them to haddock on WhatsApp without opening the full upload flow. Register the phone numbers that are allowed to send files for each restaurant.

Register authorized numbers

1. Open User settings and select the restaurant.
2. Go to My integrations.
3. Open Phone numbers and add each authorized mobile number.

Users with manage ingestion phone numbers permission can add or remove numbers. Others can still send from numbers already registered.

You can also start from Documents → New document → By WhatsApp and follow the prompts to register a number or open the chat.

Send documents

The haddock WhatsApp number for document ingestion is +34 711 24 76 55.

You can send:

• PDF files with any number of pages.
• Single images of a receipt, invoice, or delivery note.
• Several images of the same document; haddock can group them into one document.

After ingestion, the document list can show which registered number sent the file.

Desktop and mobile

• On desktop, By WhatsApp shows a QR code to open the chat on your phone.
• On mobile, use Open WhatsApp to jump to the conversation.

Limitations

• WhatsApp does not send automatic replies; check digitization in haddock.
• Numbers are shown without custom labels.
• The same number cannot send to several restaurants at once.
