Create order by supplier

In some restaurants, Ordering starts directly with supplier selection. You can also use this flow from Ordering > Order > New order > Create order by supplier.

This flow is useful when you already know which supplier you want to order from and prefer to prepare the order supplier by supplier.

Create the order

  1. Go to Ordering.
  2. Search for the supplier and select it.
  3. Search for the products you want to order.
  4. Add the quantity for each product.
  5. Review the estimated total at the bottom.
  6. Click Continue.

Orders are available for raw materials, drinks, cleaning supplies, and consumables suppliers.

If no products appear when you open a supplier, upload invoices or delivery notes from that supplier first so haddock can link products and formats.

Edit the delivery date

Before finishing the order, you can change the delivery date from Delivery on.

From there, you can change:

  • Delivery date.
  • Order cutoff time.
  • Number of days until delivery.
  • Days of the week when delivery takes place.

If you change this data, the configuration is saved for that supplier and reused in future orders.

Confirm details

After clicking Continue, review the Confirm details screen.

There, you can check:

  • Your restaurant details: name and address are required. Email is optional.
  • Your supplier details: supplier name, email, and contact person.
  • Your order details: comments or notes for the supplier.

Share and finish

In Complete order, you can:

  • Download the order as a PDF.
  • Share it from your device, including WhatsApp if your device offers it in the share options.
  • Send it directly to the supplier, if the supplier has a purchasing contact with an email address.

WhatsApp does not appear as a separate button in this supplier-first screen.

When you have downloaded, shared, or sent it, click Complete and mark as shared.

When you mark it as shared:

  • The order can no longer be edited.
  • It moves to Order history.
  • You can share it again or download it from history.
  • You can review it when the goods arrive.
