Frequently asked questions about orders
Which guide should I follow to place an order?
It depends on the screen you see when you open Ordering:
- If you see Order, New order, or Lists, follow Create order from products.
- If you see a supplier list directly, follow Create order by supplier.
Can I save my regular purchases?
Yes, if your Ordering screen shows the Lists section. Here we explain how to create and use shopping lists.
If you do not see Lists, use Create order by supplier.
What happens if I select products from several suppliers?
In the Create order from products flow, haddock automatically separates products by supplier on the Order review page.
Can I send an order by WhatsApp or email?
Yes. The exact sharing options depend on the ordering flow you are using:
- If you created the order from products or lists, follow Review and share orders.
- If you created the order from a supplier, follow Create order by supplier.
Where can I find an order after sharing it?
Shared orders appear in Order history. From there, you can search, filter, download, share again, or duplicate them. Here we explain how to manage them.
When I receive the order, is there an easy way to check that it is correct?
Yes. You can review the received order from Order history and check quantities, prices, and incidents. Here is the step-by-step guide.
Will a delivery note be created directly from that order?
Yes. When you confirm receipt of the order and finish the review, a delivery note is created automatically, so you do not need to digitize the supplier's one.
Can I add the image of the paper delivery note so I don't lose it?
Yes. You can attach it to the delivery note generated by haddock so you always have it at hand. Here we explain how to do it.
