When you receive an order from a supplier, it is essential to check that you have received all products exactly as they appear on your order sheet.
🛒 How to place an order from haddock
From haddock's ordering feature, checking that an order has been received correctly only takes a few minutes.
👀 Check an order
- Go to Orders
- Click Order history. You will be able to see all orders placed by delivery date.
- Select the Shared or Confirmed order you want to review and click Review received order.
You can review orders with the yellow Shared tag or the blue Confirmed tag.
- A list of all products and quantities ordered from your supplier will appear so you can check against your paper delivery note that everything has been received correctly.
✔️ Report a correct order
If, after checking against the paper delivery note, all products are correct, you only need to click the ✔️ that appears right next to the product.
❌ Report an incorrect order
If you find any discrepancy between the paper delivery note and the received order, you will need to collect certain information to notify the supplier.
- Incident type
- Not received. No units of the product were received.
- Incorrect quantity. A quantity different from the one on the order sheet was received.
- Defective product. A product was received in poor condition.
- Other. You can add any other incident related to the product.
- Incorrect quantity
If you did not receive the correct quantity, you can indicate the exact quantity you received for that product.
- Incorrect price
If the paper delivery note shows an incorrect price, you can report it in this section of the order.
👀 Final review and digital delivery note creation
- Once you have reviewed each product, you can access a final summary by clicking the Continue button at the bottom of the order.
- Once the order has been reviewed, you can add your supplier details to create a delivery note.
- Delivery note date. The date on which you are creating the delivery note.
- Document number. Add the number of the paper delivery note your supplier handed over at the time of delivery.
- Additional costs. You can add other additional costs associated with the order.
- Additional discounts. You can add other additional discounts associated with the order.
- A digital delivery note will be created, which you can view from the Documents screen.
📷 Add an image of the paper delivery note
If you have received a paper delivery note, you can add the image in the final step. This delivery note will not be digitized, but you will be able to view it from the Documents screen alongside the entered document details.
The image you add is for information only; the information you entered will take precedence.
